Monthly Board Decisions

December 8 2009
1. Motion to appoint John Wood as referee assigner.
2. Motion to accept a balanced budget $407,300 for 2010 fiscal year. Passed
3.Klaus to use radios for mentoring referees on a trail basis. Passed
4. Appoint Klaus Baumfeld as DOCC for 2010. Passed.
5.Motion to change District financial year from Oct 31 to Sept 30. Passed.
6. District Board Meetings will be the second Tuesday of each month.
7. District plans to put Ad on the OSA website for Technical Director ( Done and also HDSA website).
8.District plans to have a Discipline Course in the Spring.
9. Discipline Chair Oscar Lima resigned due to other commitments. The position will be put on the District website asking for applications and resumes. Done .
Jan 12 2010
1.Technical Director position posted on OSA and HDSA website. Application cut off is Feb 12/10.
2.DRC to meet with Club Head Ref's - future date TBA.
3.Kraig Schwartz appointed Director at Large.
4.OSA requesting Club Presidents meeting , Date Saturday March 27/10 -Location TBA. The Board passed motion making it mandatory for Club President or Designate to attend - Failure to attend will result in $100.00 fine.
5.Discipline Course - looking at dates in April.
6.Board decided not to send out minutes of Board meetings, due to some sensitive issues. But decided that a list of decisions would be listed on the HDSA website after each meeting. So Clubs can see if there is anything that affects them.
Feb 9 2010
1. Motion to accept Paul Atkins as the Discipline Chair.
2.Kraig Scwartz attended Long Term Player Development Meeting at OSA.
3. Laptop purchased for use of Administrator and Executive.
4.CRLMC meeting postphoned until Feb 10
5.OSA passed a motion to allow Districts to approve 2 or more Clubs affiliating. No longer have to go to OSA.
6. OSA has hired a project Manager for AIM's .
7. Approval to pay for new Referee assigning Program , if needed .
8. Applications to be looked at after Feb12 cut off , for TD position.
9. Ontario Cup Dates - Barrie June 19-20 U15G , July 10-11U16B , Innisfil July 10-11 U16G.
10. Motion to accept Affiliation between Alliston, Tottenham, Cobras and SSU for 2010.
11. Discipline Course to be set up for April .

1. Discipline Course set for Sat April 17/10.
2. Still no Player Development Co-Ordinator but in the process of hiring TD.
3. Ontario Cup Worshop May 1 /10 for Hosts, DRC and Discipline Chairs.
4. U10 Teams who want to play out of District , needs a Team registered
with SCYSL.
5. Harassment issues to go directly to District Officer.
6. Discipline handled within Club can be appealed to District. OSA guidelines to be followed.
7. Clubs Invoiced 80%
8. OSA AGM May 1&2/10.
9. AIMS issues to be sent to Aims helpdesk.
